As we all know, there are many ways to approach relationships. We've all met that person who seems to have a new partner every week, and we also know the one who's been pining after the same crush since the dawn of time. Let's embark on a whimsical comparative study (yes, this is my final year thesis) to determine which approach reigns supreme. Disclaimer!!! Don't take advice from me—I'm a self-proclaimed psychopath.
First up, BFS aka Breadth First Search. For those not versed in tech lingo, it's like exploring all the paths before diving deep into one. In relationship terms, these are the folks who date around before settling down. It's not a bad way to live, as the honeymoon phase of a relationship is often the best part. However, the slightest inconvenience or difference can lead them to believe their partner isn't 'the one.' They're constantly in search of perfection, which can be exhausting. On the plus side, these individuals are usually extroverts who move on quickly from failed relationships. But the downside? When do you ever know the search is over? Even if they find someone nearly perfect, doubts linger about whether there's someone even better out there.
Now, let's dive into DFS aka Depth First Search. These are the 'one true love' types—mostly introverts who invest their entire hearts into one person. They're not interested in searching for someone new; instead, they focus on nurturing their existing relationship. It's a beautiful sentiment until it doesn't work out. These individuals often hold on even in toxic situations, ignoring 1001 red flags, believing they can fix what's broken.
So, what's the best approach, you ask? Can we ever truly find love? The answer: Yes, we can! Try mixing and matching both algorithms or exploring alternatives like IDDFS, etc. After all, not many of us serenade the first person we lay eyes on with 'Paartha Mudhal Naale,' so there's a bit of BFS in all of us. Learn to identify toxic people from afar and invest deeply only in those who are truly worth it. But remember, life is unpredictable, and people change. It's a gamble—a gamble with your heart. So, take your chances wisely.
You might be wondering, who am I to say all this? Well, I'm just a nobody, but coaches don't have to play to be coaches. On that note, this is Deepakindresh signing off...
